Nippon Denko Co., Ltd. (the “Company”) hereby announces that it has decided to invest in the venture capital fund “Real Tech Fund 4 Investment Limited Partnership (“RTF Fund 4”)”, which is operated by Real Tech Holdings Co.,Ltd. ("Real Tech").

Real Tech is committed to solving social issues through investing in research and development-oriented ventures with innovative technologies for solving global and human challenges.

As part of our growth strategy up to 2030 in our Medium/Long-Term Business Plan announced on November 29th, the Company has been considering investments in venture capital funds with the aim of exploring business opportunities through collaboration with venture companies possessing cutting-edge technologies. Real Tech has the largest network in Japan for discovering research and development-oriented venture companies and has a rich track record of implementing technology in society and business collaborations with their invested companies. Therefore, the Company decided to invest in RTF Fund 4.

Through this investment, the Company will accelerate the growth strategy by finding new opportunities and business development possibilities with the investee of RTF Fund 4.
